As the Air Force component to USSOUTHCOM, AFSOUTH delivers air and cyberspace capabilities throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. AFSOUTH leads security cooperation, counter-transnational criminal organization, and humanitarian assistance/disaster relief missions across 31 nations. AFSOUTH supports USSOUTHCOM to strengthen partnerships, counter threats, and build regional capacity to defend the Homeland's Southern approaches and ensure a secure, free, and prosperous Western Hemisphere.
