Suit maintenance technicians ensure pilot safety
Senior Airman Joshua Fike (left) and Louis Iverson, 9th Physiological Support Squadron suit maintenance technicians, run a pressure sensor test on a full pressure suit at Beale Air Force, Calif., Jan. 24, 2013. The suits, which are used by U-2 Dragon Lady pilots, receive a full maintenance inspection every 90 to 120 days or as needed. Each test takes up to three hours to ensure pilot safety in case of depressurization at high altitude. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Shawn Nickel/Released)
