Calling all heroes
Army Maj. Gen. Gregory Lusk, North Carolina National Guard adjutant general-air, thanks Airmen of the 28th Bomb Wing for their vital support at a ceremony in the Pride Hangar on Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D, Nov. 28, 2012. More than 350 Ellsworth Airmen assisted in the recovery of a crashed C-130 near Edgemont, S.D., during July 2012, which included a dignified transfer of the deceased personnel and safe removal of more than 400 tons of aircraft parts and material from a four-acre incident debris field.
