Community involvement
Sergeant Ernie Martinez, 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment, hands out ribbon to children at an air show June 12, 2011, at Colonel Armando Escalon Espinal Air Base, Honduras. This annual event drew more than 10,000 people, raised money for a local civilian hospital and gave the opportunity for U.S. military members interact with the local community.
