Gunfighter Flag launches despite wet weather.
Lt. Col. Shelly Mendieta, 366th Fighter Wing chief of Wing safety, disembarks from an F-15E Strike Eagle March 10, 2014, at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho. The combat exercise Gunfighter Flag is designed to prepare multiple joint and coalition terminal attack controller teams for upcoming deployments as well as provide proficiency training for aircrews. Despite the wet and soggy conditions, aircrews performed close-air support missions for the JTACs on the ground. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Ben Sutton/Released)
