AFSOUTH Airmen revitalize women's and children's shelter
Fifteen Airmen from the U.S. Forward Operating Location pause for a photo while revitalizing the Kas Broeder Pius Women’s and Children’s Shelter, Oct. 25, 2014. The Airmen partnered with six local high school students and their families to paint the compound walls and clear debris in order to enhance the living space for residents. Kas Broeder Pius provides a safe living environment for teenage women who are pregnant or have small children. Members of the USFOL look for volunteer opportunities to demonstrate their long standing appreciation for the hospitality they receive from the citizens of Curacao. (Courtesy Photo)
