Members from Air Forces Southern and members from the Brazilian air force have a discussion after a presentation given on April 24, 2015, the last day of a Subject Matter Expert Exchange focused on Expeditionary Medical Support training that took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. EMEDS is a modular field deployable hospital platform consisting of a series of adjoined climate-controlled tent structures with triage, surgical, X-ray, laboratory, intensive care, orthopedics, optometry and dental capabilities.
